There are so many people who always seem interested to learn something new about cannabis sativa or marijuana plant. Even though they are not directly involved with the research work or the consumption of the plant, the popularity is due to the ongoing global debate on marijuana legalization.
Another reason for this prevailing hype of the marijuana plant is due to its psychoactive properties. The plant is also known to possess several medical uses. It has shown proven results in the treatment of different symptoms including cancer or epilepsy. However, it is still considered as the Schedule I drug and its use is still prohibited.

The compound lacks the research work and not fully discovered yet but like other compounds which belong to THC category, Cannabichromanon is likely to possess some unique properties as well.
It is believed that there are more than 100 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant including Cannabichromanon. Some are present at low levels while a few are found abundantly in the plant.
Unfortunately, Cannabichromanon belongs to those cannabis compounds which are not yet discovered and their distinctive nature is still unknown. As a result, all we can assume is that the compound (Cannabichromanon) may cause the similar effects as that of THC.

These cannabis-derived active compounds act on several cannabinoid receptors present in your cells and are part of your endocannabinoid system. It is a regulatory network that is responsible to keep your body functions in balance. Nonetheless, when these cannabinoids interact with cannabinoid receptors, they are able to modify the neurotransmitter release in the brain.
