CBN-C2 – Cannabinol-C2 -365 – An Ethanolic Extract of Cannabis
Cannabis sativa is one of those plants which is widely debated all around the globe. It is a unique plant and holds distinctive and quite impressive medicinal and therapeutic properties. It contains many compounds and there is still a lot of research work going on to fully understand the attributes of these compounds.
One of the compounds present in cannabis plant is Cannabinol-C2 – CBN-C2. It is an ethanolic extract of the cannabis plant. The compound belongs to the Cannabinol – CBN category of Cannabis plant. There is still a need for more research on Cannabinol-C2 since we still have no familiarity with the medicinal benefits of this compound on the human body.
Speaking of which, CBN is the compound present in cannabis sativa and hold great medicinal properties. It is evident that it produces effects on the human body and is one of the major cannabis compounds that help in treating insomnia. Needless to say, cannabis sativa is one of the most distinctive plants known today. It has both psychoactive and non-psychoactive properties. The legal use of cannabis, considering its medicinal benefits, is still a debate that might reach a conclusion in the near future.
While the plant provides some great medicinal and therapeutic properties, its legalization is still a burning question due to its psychoactive properties. The plant reacts with the many similar receptors present in our body to produce its effects. From nausea to insomnia, the plant can be used as one of the most natural remedies to treat a multitude of ailments.
However, there are only a few fundamental cannabinoids that offer most of the effects, which have always been associated with the unique cannabis plant.
This includes THCa, THC, CBN, CBD, CBC, and CBG. As we know Cannabinoids belong to a class of diverse and effective chemical compounds, these compounds act on the receptors present in cells that eventually repress the release of neurotransmitter in the brain. However, except for the THC, all other aforementioned cannabinoids are basically non-psychoactive.
This means that these compounds have the tendency to provide excellent relief but without even causing mental haziness. The psychoactive properties of some other compounds present in the cannabis plant are the major reason why this plant is not deemed perfect for legalization.
Since Cannabinol-C2 is one of the compounds of CBN, you must know that CBN is formed gradually and when THC gets exposed to UV light/heat and oxygen. In simple words, CBN is the byproduct that resulted from prolonged and excessive exposure to air thus, it is not commonly found in high concentrations, especially in properly stored marijuana.
If you need more amount of CBN, all you need to do is to leave the cannabis exposed for a prolonged period, in a cool environment. This method causes the THC to easily degrade to Cannabinol – CBN. This is a great compound for all of those patients who seek instant pain relief. Moreover, cannabis flowers having higher than 1% concentrates of CBN can also be vaporized or smoked to get medicinal effects.
